Queen Mary v King Paul

For our next meeting on Wednesday 17th April at 8.15pm in the Murieston Village Hall we are inviting our members to bake Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood recipes. Bread or Pastry

I think I can safely say that we all found bread and pastry a challenge but wow everyone did so well! We had a wide selection of bakes from shortcrust and choux through to puff pastry and 2 different types of bread. We spent some time discussing how we found making our bake and I think we all picked up some top tips.

Next Meeting Wed 27th February – Pastry or Bread

The theme for our next meeting is to bake either a bread product or something made with your own homemade pastry. I personally think this is our most challenging theme to date but please don’t be put off remember we are trying to encourage each other to try something new.
The meeting will take place in Murieston Village Hall at 8.15pm on the 27th February 2013. As always there will be a small charge of £2 towards the hall cost.
